The complete cycle, from picking the unprocessed part to delivering the processed part into a bin in an organized manner, averages 40 seconds. High precision is achieved through part re-gripping on the SCAPE Handling Station. The robot picks the part from the initial bin, re-grips it after orientation control, and delivers it to one of the three CNC machines. Once the part has been processed, the robot grips and unloads the finished part before loading a new one into the CNC machine for processing.
