Nissan Factory in China Will Automate With Scape Solution

Dongfeng Nissan Technical Center in Guangzhou will automate with a complete SCAPE Bin-Picker solution.   The technical center develops new cars for the Chinese market and the center is involved in procurement and production in close cooperation with the Nissan Technical Center in Japan and other development centers in Europe, the United States and Asia.

The agreement with Nissan was reached in January 2020 between Nissan and Scape Technologies' joint-venture company, Scape China, in Shenzhen, China.

"The order from Nissan confirms our strong position in the automotive industry, which is a highly demanding industry. Our goal is to pave the way for the sale of several SCAPE Bin-Picking systems to the Dongfeng Nissan car factory, which produces almost 1.200.000 vehicles per year"says CEO Søren Bøving-Andersen, Scape Technologies A/S.

Scape Technologies got the order shortly after we launched the first major product release of the SCAPE systems in January. The new version is intuitive and have user-friendly features. Scape Technologies sees the user experience as the crucial factor in accessing a much larger market.  "The order from Dongfeng Nissan confirms that we are on the right track" says CEO Søren Bøving-Andersen.
