We are proud to announce the launch of our latest product, the SCAPE Stationary Scanner P2 Recognition. This innovative scanner is an alternative to our popular robot-mounted SCAPE Grid Scanner Recognition and SCAPE Stationary Scanner E1 Recognition, offering even faster cycle times and greater flexibility for a wide range of applications, at a competitive price
The SCAPE Stationary Scanner P2 Recognition is a binocular 3D scanner that is mounted above bins, making it ideal for bin-picking tasks and tasks that benefit from multiple view angles. Compared to a robot-mounted scanner, the stationary scanner acquires data independently without involving the robot, resulting in faster cycle times. It can even handle two adjacent bins simultaneously in certain cases. The scanner uses two cameras to capture different light patterns projected onto the scene, creating a precise 3D point cloud of the object.
With three available sizes, the SCAPE Stationary Scanner P2 Recognition is suitable for various applications, depending on the size of the scanned object and scanning volume, among other aspects. All models generate up to 2.0 million points and utilize blue laser light (447nm), ensuring precise and accurate scanning.
Installation of the scanner is easy, and both the object and the 3D sensor remain stationary during scanning, enabling quick and highly accurate results. Equip your robot or machine with powerful 3D vision and allow it to see with the SCAPE Stationary Scanner P2 Recognition.
